The herringbone parquet flooring formation is what usually springs to mind when people think of a parquet floor. Very often seen in stately homes or traditional school assembly halls, rectangular blocks are individually laid in an overlapping formation.
Herringbone Parquet flooring, Highgate London
Our customer chose Panga Panga wood for this dark and dramatic floor throughout their entire townhouse. We left the top unvarnished according to our customer’s specific instructions, in order to soften the cherry tones and give a lived-in, well-worn feel.
